Four Principles Fundamental to Design Practice for Human Centred Systems
نویسنده
چکیده
Poor design criteria are responsible for wasting computer users time and are a hindrance to effective interaction with human centred systems. It is important that before any design of an interface is attempted an in-depth analysis of task and user needs must be undertaken. Questions need to be asked such as “What takes place during interaction between the user and the interface?” “Does the interaction produce the desired result?” ”Can the interface be easily changed to accommodate evaluation feedback?”

Principles for Human-Centred Design of IR Interfaces
Since the ‘80s, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) researchers have performed a lot of work to identify principles, techniques, and methodologies that can support design, evaluation and implementation of interactive systems that fulfill needs and expectations of their users. This chapter discusses concepts, such as usability and user experience, which are of great importance for the success of in...
متن کاملCare Integration – From “One Size Fits All” to Person Centred Care; Comment on “Achieving Integrated Care for Older People: Shuffling the Deckchairs or Making the System Watertight for the Future?”
Integrating services is a hot topic amongst health system policy-makers and healthcare managers. There is some evidence that integrated services deliver efficiencies and reduce service utilisation rates for some patient populations. In their article on Achieving Integrated Care for Older People, Gillian Harvey and her colleagues formulate some critical insights from practice and research around...

It also sheds light on different innovation models and explores their contributi...
متن کاملDescription the Design with Nature in Bio-Architecture and urban design
The relation between nature and human considers different periods. At first it was bio-utilization which degrades the value of nature as a source of energy and material. After revolution in science development and attention to the damages which they made to environment, they tried to change their look to this issue and expand the mean of relation between human and nature. Birth of such word l...
متن کاملAn Iterative Approach to Develop a Cognitive Model of the Driver for Human Centred Design of Its
Applying a Human Centred Design (HCD) approach to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is a challenging issue. Indeed, it is fundamental to confront the end-user to the designed system as often and as soon as possible. However, this process is both costly and time-consuming. We present several ways in which driver models, especially cognitive models, could support the HCD of driving assista...
